Chocolate Workshops
Divine is the only Fairtrade chocolate company which is 45% owned by the farmers. David Greenwood-Haigh from Divine will be hosting three Chocolate Workshops each day. Please note that workshop numbers are limited. Please note there will be a charge for participants. Times of the workshops will be listed on both days.
Children’s Craft Activities and Entertainment
Craft workshops will be taking place throughout the day. Join in the fun, get arty and make your own Easter cards. Also includes facepainting, balloon sculpting, and a magician. Look out for Charlie Chick, our Festival mascot, who will be out and about in Ramsbottom.
Please Note: charges apply for some activities. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Giant Easter Egg Competition
Local schools, nurseries and clubs have spent weeks perfecting their giant Easter egg designs. All entries on display in Ramsbottom Civic Hall. Hamper Prizes. Winners will be announced in the Civic Hall on Sunday 1 April at 2.45pm. Winners will each receive a craft hamper courtesy of Clarks Craft of Ramsbottom.
Flag Competition
Shops in Ramsbottom will display flags of cocoa producing countries. Each poster shows a country flag and chocolate fact. Can you correctly identify which flag is displayed in which shop? Entry forms from participating shops and Ramsbottom Civic Hall. Winner annouced Sunday 2.45pm at the Civic Hall. Winner receives chocolate pizza courtesy of The Chocolate Cafe.

Leading Chocolatiers and producers will be doing talks and demos throughout the day.

Fabulous Bunny Bag Workshop
The East Lancashire Railway has teamed up with Bury Art Collective for some steam-powered craft activities during this year’s Ramsbottom Chocolate Festival! Climb onboard the steam train and travel to the festival in style with your very own Easter bag! Join us to create Fabulous Bunny Bags to put your special Easter treats in! It’s an idea that has become a favourite with all ages! The craft workshop is FREE with your valid travel ticket but places are limited.
