The 2014 Chocolate Festival is taking place this year on the 12th and 13th April 2014. The festival is taking place in our beautiful Town of Ramsbottom. In Ramsbottom we are incredibly proud of our High Street and Town as a whole, we are very lucky to have a Town Centre which is full of independent shops, cafes, bars, restaurants, we even have our own Brewery.
Ramsbottom was named joint runner up in the 2013 High Street of the year awards held by the Daily Telegraph. We were also named in the top ten places to live in the UK by the Guardian Newspaper. We hold a number of festivals and events throughout the year, one of our most popular events is our Chocolate Festival which won the Manchester Tourism award in 2012 for best small event. We also hold annual Christmas Markets, and lots of other events such as a Pie Festival. Our next big event is the 2014 Chocolate Festival and planning is well underway to make it bigger and better than ever! We have more stalls booked this year to make the incredibly popular Chocolate Market even bigger!
The Ramsbottom Chocolate Festival is set to return to Town this year on the 12th and 13th April 2014.
The festival this year is going to be bigger and better! We are looking to have more stalls with lots of chocolate goodies with Festival favourites returning again this year.
Keep checking back on our site for more details of what is happening!
2013 Festival a huge success!
Despite the freakish arctic conditions, thousands of cocoa lovers from far and wide travelled to our Northern market town to taste some of the UKs award winning chocolate. Lots of chocolate, sunshine and happy smiling people wrapped up warm to descend upon Ramsbottom for our FIFTH Chocolate Festival. Thanks to everyone who came along, and to the stall holders and businesses who helped to make this the best one yet.
Thank you to Pennine Telecoms for our Radios (we’re liking them just a little too much), PK Environmental for mini bus & Woodhey for allowing us to use their site for Park and Ride, A-Z Animals for sorting out our adorable Daisy cow for milking demo and to our musicians who added a great atmosphere. Also a big thank you to all our police cadet volunteers who worked tirelessly throughout the weekend – you were all amazing.
